The oil pressure sensor for a 2001 Chevy Cavalier will be situated in the engine of the vehicle. You will have to press the hood switch inside the vehicle on the driver's side and afterward open the hood and the security lock when You get beyond the vehicle. Presently look towards the rear of the motor between the motor and the firewall on the right hand side You will see the oil pressure sensor. It should be turned off before You can put another one in. A substitution sensor will cost somewhere in the range of $30 and $50.
